Chairmens Notes
As many of you no I decided to drop back to grass roots football this season, this has been a bit of an eye opener for me. Although many of the games I have refereed or watched have past without incident I have seen several where I have found the respect for the man in the middle none existent, be it observing or refereeing. I feel for the newer referees going out there on there first or second season, it must be nerve racking and tough. I can also see from behaviour of some teams that they are getting away with bad behaviour, a minority of referees are not dealing with this behaviour or reporting it, they are not doing us any favours at all, so my advise is if you have it aimed at you report it to the DCFA, any problems with coaches (report him), if this is left unpunished these people will ruin the game and your enjoyment, also your fellow referee the following week will have to face it. Lets all worked to together. These are my thoughts and observations and not aimed at any members of the DVRA.
